Allowing Third-party Cookies

Overview

Third-party cookies are required for Proctorio to function properly. If third-party cookies are blocked, a crossed-out eye icon will appear on the right side of the address bar.

Troubleshooting

Use the steps below to allow third-party cookies for individual sites or for all sites.

Site-only Permissions

Click the crossed-out eye in the address bar and click the toggle to allow third-party cookies; this will only allow third-party cookies for the current site.

Allow on All Sites

Microsoft Edge

  1. Type edge://settings/content/cookies into the address bar and press Enter, or navigate to Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Cookies

  2. Select Allow third-party cookies.

Google Chrome (Brave and Opera)

  1. Type chrome://settings/cookies into the address bar and press Enter, or navigate to Settings > Privacy & Security > Third-Party Cookies.

  2. Select Allow third-party cookies.
