About the Role

We're seeking a QA Automation Engineer to ensure exceptional quality across our browser extension, desktop, and mobile applications. You'll build and maintain automated testing frameworks while working in an agile environment with weekly sprints.

Management

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using modern frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
Build scalable test automation frameworks for web, desktop, and mobile platforms
Create and execute automated regression, integration, and end-to-end tests
Integrate automated tests into continuous integration environments
Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing documentation in Azure DevOps
Log, track, and advocate for bug resolution using Azure DevOps work item tracking
Collaborate with development and product teams throughout the sprint cycle to identify testable acceptance criteria
Perform strategic manual testing for new features and complex scenarios
Write clean, maintainable test code following established patterns and best practices
Manage test scripts and automation code in Azure DevOps repositories
Contribute to code reviews for test automation
Mentor junior QA engineers on automation best practices and workflows

Requirements

Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or C#
Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium)
Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, DOM manipulation)
Experience with Azure DevOps: Test Plans, Repos, Pipelines
Knowledge of CI/CD principles and implementation
Understanding of API testing and test data management
Obsessive attention to detail and commitment to quality
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in an agile, fast-paced environment
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills

Preferred Skills

Experience testing browser extensions and cross-platform applications
Familiarity with mobile app testing (iOS/Android)
Knowledge of performance and security testing methodologies
Experience with automated testing in regulated or compliance-driven environments
