Happy Women’s History Month!

Did you know Proctorio’s Design team is not only women-led but fully staffed by women? This is just one example of how our company entrusts women to advance our innovation and creativity.

Women’s History Month initially started as Women’s History Week in 1978, and over the years, it turned into a month-long celebration of the contributions that women of all backgrounds have made throughout American history.

This month and every month, Proctorio makes a point to celebrate women together.

A reminder from our CEO: “While the world has made some progress towards gender-based equality, much more still needs to be done. The tech industry has traditionally been a difficult place for women. As a company, we try to set an example with over 70% of leadership identifying as women. Here at Proctorio, we will continue to commit to creating the most inclusive work environment and setting an example for our industry.”

In addition to internal efforts, we're passionate about making a positive impact in the wider community. Through partnerships with organizations that support women in tech and initiatives aimed at bridging the gender gap in STEM fields, we're working to create a more inclusive future for all.

As a woman in the organization, I am grateful to be so appreciated and supported in the office, and surrounded by so many amazing women both in leadership and as peers. Moving forward, I can’t wait to see how much more progress we make as a company striving towards the most inclusive work environment possible.

Shoutout to Melissa, Proctorio’s Director of AI Ethics and Compliance, who ensures company security and ethical standards are met; Genesis, Proctorio’s Creative Director, who leads and inspires a team of creative professionals; and Lauren, our Design Manager, who envisions and defines Proctorio’s branding, ultimately leading to its evolution. Shoutout to Ana, our Product Lead, who ensures smooth product integrations and an enhanced user experience; Sonja, Proctorio’s Managing Director, who makes daily executive decisions; and Shirlene, our IT Support Technician, who ensures our technology is operating smoothly. Shoutout to every woman at Proctorio, who makes it a better place to work, day in and day out.

To close out the month, let's come together to celebrate the achievements of women everywhere and commit ourselves to building a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive world. Whether it's through small acts of recognition and appreciation or larger initiatives aimed at driving systemic change, each of us has a role to play in creating a brighter future for women and girls everywhere.
